From pop-up boutique to a Home for Crystal Lovers
Flux Crystals started as a tiny pop-up boutique shop in the Whiteaker neighborhood in 2020. It all started when single mama Jenelle Pearson visioned herself creating community surrounding local art and spiritual wellness.“In 2020 my life was in serious transition. I wanted to create a career where I could express myself, bring my kiddo along to work, and dive deeper into manifesting my own reality”, says Jenelle. She collaborated with the former Rooted Space, a coffee shop / movement studio in the Whiteaker Neighborhood. December 2020 Jenelle opened up her tiny crystal boutique in a small store front space next to Rooted Grounds Cafe. Quickly Flux became full of a curated collection of locally made jewelry, self-care goods, crystals and gifts. As neighbors and Eugene locals continued to find the hidden gem, the shop quickly became too tiny for the demand.
Summer 2021 Flux moved next door into the Rooted Space movement studio. It was then filled with so much more magic, room for more folks to hold events such as Art Walks and sacred ceremony circles. Flux became a potent vortex for creatives, crystal lovers, and spiritual guidance, “The greatest gift Flux has given me is my tribe of support. Following my passion of sharing mother earth’s beautiful crystals has guided me to accelerated healing and self realization.”, says Jenelle. “Crystals are my elemental companions and constant reminders of the magic here on Earth.”
Summer 2022 Flux relocated to downtown Eugene on the corner of W. Broadway and Lincoln at the beautiful Broadway Place building. “When I had to move out of the Whiteaker, I trusted the perfect space would find me.”, said Jenelle. “The location we are in now was a dream come true, it was the first property I checked out, and I knew it was ‘the one’ as soon as I stepped foot in there. There is gorgeous concrete structural walls and counters that even had crystals and fossils inlaid in them. The huge windows surrounding the space are perfect to showcase the crystals”.
As you step into Flux Crystals in downtown Eugene, you can feel the energetic shift of frequencies. It is a sanctuary filled with colorful pocket rocks, giant display specimens, and everything in between. There is truly something for everyone. It is a place where you can tune into your intuition. Take a moment to follow the path on the spiraling floor while sifting through thousands of gorgeous minerals.
